The Hobbit, part 3
Since ALEP 2.5 and 2.75, The Hobbit part 1 & 2, was so well received by all, with Shaker Village who went out of their way for us, the theater at Brannon’s Crossing treating us like royals and the wee lads and lasses who came to Joseph-Beth Booksellers for the readings on Saturday…. Well, dare I say, “play it again, Sam” yet again? Let’s have ALEP 3.1, as it were, and do it all again this December 19-21.

At this time ALL is subject to change until the theater can tells us movie times.
Attendees are required to make their reservations through Ann Voris of The Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill directly at 1-800-734-5611 extension 1548 or at 1-859-734-1548 and mention you are with the ALEP group. You will not be able to reserve through the Inn at Shaker Village as the East Family Dwelling has been reserved for us. For this event, we do ask that you book your room in this building as long as there are beds available. Rooms will be assigned on a first come-first served basis. Attendees age 16 and under room for free if staying in the same room as their parents.
Should you wish to extend your stay beyond the Friday night to Sunday morning you will be able to do so with no problem, I’m sure. We strongly suggest to reserve early in that case as the rooms are blocked off for us only during the Friday night through Sunday morning period, so room space may fill up with other guests not related to the ALEP family.
Oh yeah, what’s a gathering without food!? We will be having a group dinner either on Friday or Saturday night, depending on the movie show times.
And since several of us will partake of the Kentucky Breakfast Buffet, you can go ahead and chime in for that too. It is easier for us to get in and out as a group with this all taken care of ahead of time. Of course, you are free to dine when/where you desire.
We’ll have our little pot-lucky after-the-movie party this time as well. There will be a space you can state whether you will bring a dish or be willing to throw into the kitty for other foods/drinks.
Any other meals you are on your own, take this time to explore Harrodsburg.
Notifications and Cancellations
Our refund policy is as follows:
If you should cancel for any reason you will be refunded the full amount you have paid to date less any processing fees up until December 1st, 2013, after which a refund will not be possible as most expenses are prepaid.
If the event is cancelled for any reason you will be given a full refund up toDecember 1st, 2013. Should the event be cancelled after this date only a partial refund will be possible subject to the costs that will have been assumed at that time.
K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sam) Yes, and why not? For this smaller event, just one from your household needs but to register and just select how many are coming with you. By registering ahead of time will help me plan group events, then a little later when I can lock down prices I’ll email each of you a simple invoice.
